William Russell Letter to Samuel Russell

This letter was recorded in the Lawrence County, Ohio Deeds. I transcribed it the best I could and changed the misspelled words, except one (something I never do, but made an exception to this document for easier reading). I am not quite sure which William Russell he is referring to in this letter that had died, that will require a little more research on someone else’s part.

Deed records may contain names of cemeteries, neighbors, and when a land owner died, sometimes the closest relatives were named. Do not overlook the importance of these records.
