Editor’s Note

This list was submitted by Bob Davisson and identifies the burial ground as the Kelley-Collins Cemetery. All 52 named entries present in the supplied transcription have been retained. The original total states 53 listings, but only 52 individual entries are present; no missing entry has been invented. Wide spacing has been replaced with a table for easier reading, and Elizabeth Ann Kelley Jaynes’s age has been reunited with her entry. Names, dates, and ages have not been altered without supporting evidence. These inscriptions have not been independently checked against gravestone photographs or an on-site survey.

The Kelly surname was also spelled Kelley in some records. Both spellings appear in this list and in the Reuben Kelley Bible transcription. Researchers should search both spellings.

Luke Kelley’s age is given here as 64 years, 7 months, 24 days; the Reuben Kelley Bible transcription gives 64 years, 7 months, 22 days. Both report November 25, 1821, as his death date. This discrepancy has been left unresolved rather than silently changing either record.

James Kelley’s entry contains only the date 9-15-1844, without a stated birth or death designation. William J. Henry’s relationship notation is incomplete (“Son /o J. & .”). These uncertainties have been preserved. Abbreviations include “Wife /o” (wife of), “Son /o” (son of), “Dau /o” (daughter of), “yrs” (years), “mos” (months), and “dys” (days).
