Will of Celia A. Wolf

Dated July 24, 1882.   Presented to the Court on June 15, 1891.

I, Celia A. Wolf of Lawrence County and the State of Ohio, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.

Item First: All my just debts and funeral expenses are to be paid out of my estate.

Item Second: I give and bequeath to my Son George W. Wolf if he is living the sum of One Dollar and if he is dead then the same is to be paid out of my estate to his heirs Equally if living.

Item Third: I give and bequeath to the heirs of my Daughters Sarah Willis and Nancy Willis the sum of One Dollar Each, the same being George Willis $1.00 and Mary Jane Willis $1.00 children of Sarah Willis, and Rebecca A. Willis child of said Nancy Willis, One Dollar to be paid out of my estate.

Item Fourth: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Ann Eliza Pancake One Share to be paid out of my Estate. (Equal with the children below named.)

Item Fifth: I give and bequeath all the balance of my estate which I may have at my death (after debts and funeral expenses are paid as aforesaid.) to my children hereafter named to be equally divided between them, to wit: Mary A. Howell, Elizabeth L. Russell, Adaline Corn, Hannah E. Wade, Penina E. Bevan, Calvin P. Wolf, and Edward B. Wolf.

Item Sixth: All claims due me at the time of my death from any of my said children are to be considered settled and paid and not to be a part of my Estate to be divided or bequeathed as aforesaid.

I hereby revoke all former wills by me made. In Witness Whereof I have hereto subscribed my name to this my last Will in presence of William P. Lynd and Thomas Golden Witnesses to the same this 24th day of July 1882.

Signed by the said Celia A. Wolf in our presence this 24th day of July 1882 as her last Will and Testament and signed by us as witnesses in her presence and at her request.

and afterward, on the 15th day of June 1891 the testimony in relation to the execution of said Will was taken as follows:

The State of Ohio, Lawrence County, ss
In Probate Court,

Personally appeared in open Court W. P. Lynd and Thomas Golden the subscribing witnesses to the last Will and testament of Celia A. Wolf late of Windsor Township, in said Lawrence County, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law to speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, in relation to the execution of said Will depose and say, That the paper before them bearing date the 24th day of July A.D. 1882 purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Celia A. Wolf, now deceased, is the will of said deceased Celia A. Wolf, that they were present at the execution of said will and at the request of the Testatrix, respectively subscribed their names to same as witnesses, in her presence, that they saw the said Celia A. Wolf, deceased, sign and seal said Will, and heard her acknowledge the same to be her last will and testament; and that the said Celia A. Wolf, at the time of making, signing and sealing said Will was of full age, of Sound mind and memory, and not under any restraint.
