Columbus, Ohio April 12 – A rich vein of silver has been discovered on the hill land of Samuel Edgell of South Point. It will be extensively worked by Mr. Edgell, who has placed orders for all the necessary machinery.

The ore on the outer edge of the lode shows 36% of silver and 25% of tin, while it becomes richer as it deepens. It cannot be said yet just how extensive the find may be, but the indications are so favorable that mining preparations are being made on a large scale.
