Isaac Frampton and wife Jane of Wayne Co., Va, for $6,000 paid by Simeon, Violet, Abraham, Ambrose, Walker, Charlotte, Barbara, Horace, Susan, Short John, Maria, Jane, Beck, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Ellen, Lucy Ann, Priscilla, Eleanor, Edmund, Daniel, Cilla daughter of Jane, Alexander son of Beck, Nancy, Julia, William son of said Nancy, William, Lewis, Washington, Laurence, Albert, Yellow John, Bob, Noah and Winna of Madison, VA the emancipated slaves of James Ferguson, deceased.

Very long and involved land description, but the land is in Fayette Twp., Sec 2, Range 19, Twp. 1 and shares a line with Burton heirs, George Kouns, Isaac Frampton, and Randall.

William Lynda sold and conveyed land to wit; 5 1/2 acres to Elijah Frampton and six acres to William C. Johnson.

It also mentions the following exceptions: one acre sold to Arty Carter, one acre sold to Abner Johnson, and one acre sold to Anna Robinson and subject to the life lease of Samuel Blan and his wife.

*There are more deeds regarding James Ferguson’s slaves……per Local Historian Carrie Eldridge – The County Clerk wrote the wrong name. These were the manumitted Twyman slaves. They had no connection to any Ferguson. Many other documents in Law. Co. that proves such.
