Still Found; Owner is Missing- December 1921

Armed with a search warrant issued from Probate court on a complaint made by A. Z. Blair, Deputy Sheriffs Frank Bennett, and Wanzer? Rickey raided the home of Frank Valentine on Powellsville Road, above Wheelersburg Tuesday morning and captured a 15-gallon copper still and a little more than a gallon of high-proof liquor.

The still and liquor were seized by the officers and brought to the above sheriff’s office, but Valentine had left home before the raid and could not be found.[1]
