Huntington, WV – Aug. 8 – Frank Millirons was arrested near Arabia, Lawrence County, Ohio, this afternoon by Officer Roy Hill and brought here and placed in jail. It is alleged that Millirons is the leader of a notorious gang that has made and circulated thousands of dollars worth of spurious gold coins in the cities of the Middle West. Most of their money put in circulation is in $5 and $10 denominations. There was a big reward for his capture.

Frank Millirons, of Huntington [WV], was indicted and entered a plea of guilty to the charge of passing counterfeit money, but not guilty on the charge of uttering the same. He is charged with uttering and passing spurious $5 gold pieces. His trial will open this morning at 10:00.
