Blown Fifty Feet in Air

Huntington, WV. Aug. 1 – Jos. Hardesty, one of the best-known citizens of Lawrence County, Ohio, and whose home is near Proctorville, Ohio, was this morning instantly killed and his four sons seriously injured, two of them probably fatally, but the explosion of a large boiler in their sawmill on Wolfe Creek.

Mr. Hardesty was blown fifty feet in the air, falling into the mill pond. The mill is a total wreck.
