William H. Dinnen

William H. Dinnen and Phoebe Peyton were married in Lawrence County, Ohio, on March 20, 1865.  He was born in this county in 1842, and his wife is also a native of this county, born in 1850.  The parents of Mr. Dinnen are James and Elizabeth (Vitten) Dinnen, residents of this county.

The following comprise the family of Mr. Dinnen:

  • George H., born April 22, 1867;
  • William E., November 14, 1868;
  • Mary E., August 21, 1870;
  • Carlas, April 14, 1872;
  • Oliver P., March 30, 1874;
  • Charles F., March 5, 1876;
  • David O., February 4, 1878;
  • James A., November 14, 1880;
  • Laura, December 22, 1881.

They all reside in Aid township.  The parents of Mrs. Dinnen are Isaac and Rebecca (Liston) Paten, who settled in Lawrence county in 1820.  Mr. Dinnen is a resident of Aid township, where he is engaged in farming.  His address is Aid, Lawrence county, Ohio.
