James H. Nixon was a son of William and Jane Nixon who came to this county in the spring of 1817.
He was born in Burlington, Lawrence County, Ohio, September 8, 1834, and married in Harmar, Washington County, Ohio, November 20, 1873, to Mary, born in Watertown, Washington County, Ohio, a daughter of Seth Hart, M. D., and Mary (Wilson) Hart.
Mr. James H. Nixon is a saddler and harness manufacturer, residing in Upper Township. Post office address, Ironton, Ohio.
