Vietnam Veterans

This page is for the heroes that served in the Vietnam War. My brother, Stephen H. Martin was one of those heroes. I remember the feeling of him leaving, never knowing if we would see him again. My mother prayed for many hours which turned into days, then months. Thankfully her prayers were answered when ten months later we met him on the tarmac at the Tr-State Airport in Huntington, WV. This page is for him and all the others that served in Vietnam War.

American Legion Ironton Post 433 erected a Memorial Plaque in the memory of those who gave their lives in the Vietnam War and to honor those who served with the U. S. Armed Services from 1964 – 1973.  This plague is located at Lawrence County, Ohio’s Courthouse lawn at the intersection of S. 4th Street and Center Street, on the right when traveling north on S. 4th Street.
