keep in mind that in some of these cases, there was just a suit FILED for divorce, and there wasn’t any indication whether the divorce was actually awarded. KY last Nov. In addition to the shooting episode, the pltf. alleges
his wife destroyed his trunk in searching for a revolver, and that
her threats became so pronounced that he left the house and went to
neighbors on 25 Feb, last. The next day, when he went home, he found
his wife gone.

Was married sometime in 1840, sometime in January 1842 they went to visit her mother, Lucy Bartram who lives in Greenup Co., Ky. After a short visit with her mother, she refused to come back home to Lawrence County, Ohio where they had been living as husband and wife. Husband believes the reason she wanted to stay was that a criminal she cherished for one John M. Riggs, living in Greenup Co., Ky.
Sometime in April 1841, Mary Ann McKee committed adultery in her mother’s house and the said Mary Ann McKee is currently cohabitating with John M. Riggs in Greenup County and has had a child by him or some other person. Marriage was annulled by Ohio Supreme County, Lawrence County, Ohio.
