1. GEORGE WASHINGTON1 THOMPSON b. 25 Jan 1806 in Springfield, Washington, KY. d.18 Sep 1861 in Symmes Twp, Lawrence, OH. He m. Martha E. Lambert, d/o William Lambert, and Rhoda Burchett, on 30 Jun 1825 in Lawrence Co, KY (this info is in question and has to be verified). She was b. in 1808 in Ireland, Taylor Co, KY. d. after 1860 in Symmes Twp, Lawrence, OH.
George bought land from Caleb McDaniel 24 Oct 1844 Vol 10 pg 90 Law Co. land records. George & Martha are buried in the Thompson Cemetery, Waterloo, Lawrence Co, OH, but the gravestones are too old and broken to read and some gravesites in that cemetery have no stones at all. But almost all of their children are buried here also.

J. and Nancy sold land to James Harvey Thompson, Nancy’s brother, on 25 May 1849. After Nancy’s death in 1854, A. J. m. Rebecca Saunders and they bought land 19 Dec 1855 from J. L. Armstrong.
