Low Gap Cemetery is located on Route 243 at Bradrick.
This cemetery was read in 1999 by Julian Barnett, Perry Campbell, and Tom Clutters. You can find that link here.
Since this cemetery was read, headstones probably are no longer visible due to the weather, vandalism, and other factors. When they read the cemetery, they didn’t record any persons born before 1900, so please have someone either read the cemetery for you or plan on visiting there for yourself.
Directions to the cemetery – Coming East on Route 7 from Chesapeake, turn left at 243 (Bradrick). At the top of the hill, you will see a small store to your right and a church next to it. Between the church and the store, there is a road called Browning Road.
The Cemetery is directly on your left, just a few feet past the church. You will see a sign “Low Gap Cemetery.” This Cemetery was a part of Union Baptist Church in Union Township.
