Suffocated in a Chest
|
|
Ironton, O-Aug 21-This afternoon George
Hamilton and wife went visiting, leaving their three children, aged
8, 4 and 2 years respectively, at home. Upon returning some time
afterwards, the children were missing. After a lengthy search, they
were found confined in an old tool-chest, where they had died from
suffocation. A stick fastened in the staple of the chest indicates
murder. The mother is almost insane from grief. The whole town is
wild with excitement. No clue to the murderess.
