P.C. Booth, Prominent Attorney, Passes Away

...P.C. Booth died at his home on South Sixth Street Monday after 2:30 due to a stroke of paralysis...

He was born at Getaway, Ohio this county in 1852, the son of Rev. and Mrs. A. J. Booth. He spent his happy boyhood days and received his early education in that vicinity.  He successfully passed the teacher's examination and taught school in this county for about 15 years.

Shortly after moving to this city, Mr. Boothe attended school at the University of Michigan, receiving his degree in 1890....

He was married in early youth and to the union were born two children, Miss Minnie Booth and Mrs. William Murdock, both of Proctorville, this county....

No funeral arrangements have been made.
