Obituaries my grandmother had in a box of family papers. Some are
from Lawrence County unsure of years though as she did 't put the
years on them.

Mrs. Wm. E. Langdon
Mrs Emma Esther Paul Langdon, 58 wife of William E. Langdon of
Chesapeake Rt 1 died at a Huntington hospital at 11:30 a.m. today.
Mrs. Langdon has been ill for several months.
Surviving are the husband; one daughter, Rosemary at home, three
sisters, Mrs. Maude Forgey, Mrs. Ida Kite both of Huntington and Mrs.
Ethel Keeney of Chesapeake; two brothers, F.A. Paul of Houston, Tex.
and Wade B. Paul of Claifornia. The body is at the Schneider Funeral
Home pending completion of funeral arrangements. Rites Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella G. Huff, 78, of Chesapeake
died Saturday, will be conducted at 3pm tomorrow at the Big Branch
Methodist Church. the Rev. A.J. Brewer and the Rev. David Click will
officiate. The body has been taken from the Schneider Funeral Home at
Chesapeake.

Mrs. Stella Lundy Butcher
Mrs. Stella Lundy Butcher, 85, of Chesapeake died Monday Sept. 14,
1981, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Gertrude Gillette. Funeral
services will be conducted at 2 pm at Schneider Funeral Home by the
Rev. Greene Kitchen. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. She
was born October 27,1895, in Lawrence County Ohio a daughter of the
late Walter and Kate Howell Lundy. She was a member of the Staunton
Street Apostolic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Martin S. Butcher. Additional survivors include daughters Mrs. Faye
Rucker, Mrs. Agnes Gillette, Mrs. Beulah Jenkins and Mrs. Polly
McGinnis all of Chesapeake. Mary Evans of Danville W. Va. and Julia
Gillette of Toledo, Ohio.
Four sons Bill and Harvey butcher both of Chesapeake, J.O. Butcher
of South Point, Ross Butcher of Proctorville ; one sister Mrs. Addie
Noble of Chesapeake; 28 grandchildren 47 great-grandchildren, and 2
great-great grandchildren. Friends may call from 6p-9p Wednesday at
Schneider Funeral Home.

Ethel Cheek
Chesapeake, Ohio- Ethel Luella Cheek Clark, 79, former resident of
Vine Street, Clyde, died Tuesday Dec. 26,1986 in Buckeye Nursing Home,
Clyde following a lengthy illness.
She was born November 19,1907 in Lawrence County Ohio and was the
daughter of W.A. and Viola (Pemberton) Sneel. She married Richard
Cheek on Jan. 11,1936. She was a homemaker and had resided in the
Clyde area since 1952.
She is survived by her husband; two sons Charles E.Cheek, Clyde and
Malcolm L. Cheek San Diego Calif.; and two daughters Betty J. Vidito,
Clyde and Doris Wilhelm of Sandusky.
Friends will be received at the Schneider Funeral Home Chesapeake
Ohio on Thursday from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Friday in
the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Chesapeake.
Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde,Ohio is in charge of local
arrangements. There will be no local visitation.
