Kenova, died this morning at 10:30 o'clock at her home following a
long illness. Surviving her are her husband, these children: Frank,
Henry Jr., Roosevelt, McKinley of North Kenova, Ohio, Mrs, Cora Hardy
of Chesapeake, Ohio, Mrs. Shirley McComas of Detroit, MI, Garland and
Homer of Chesapeake, Ohio; two brothers, James and Alex Elkins of
Proctorville, Ohio, two sisters, Mrs. James Leffingwell and Mrs. Lisa
McMasters of Chesapeake, Ohio. The body was removed to the Schneider
Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements. Died of

died at Ironton House of a fractured skull from a fall. Got drunk and
was taken to Ironton House for lodgment where he was accepted and when
he reached the door, he went out backwards, falling to the pavement
fracturing his skull. He died Sunday. Charles BARBS (the porter) was
arrested because he gave BARKER a push.

died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. KANEFF of Proctorville, Monday.
... The remains were taken to Gallipolis, his home Monday and was
interred at Mound Hill. Captain Baxter is survived by one son
Chancellor Baxter, and three daughters, Mrs. L. A. ROSE and Mrs. M. W.
KANEFF of Proctorville and Mrs. Geo. CLARKE of Pocahontas, Va. And by
two sisters, Mrs. Susan JOHNSON and Mrs. John NEVINS. He was born in
Gallipolis.
