GALAGHER, Miss Mable       I.R. Jan. 18, 1906
Miss Mabel Gallagher died at the Deaconess Hospital Friday of typhoid fever, aged about 43 years. Miss Gallagher was a sister of Mrs. E. H. Bryan, who recently moved to Columbus. She was too ill to be removed to Columbus and was taken to the hospital, where she died. Dr. Bryan came down from Columbus Saturday night and took charge of the body, and had it removed to Middleport, O., for burial.

Daughter of R. Gardner, died and buried in Beulah Cemetery.

GARDNER, Mary Alice, Miss       Mar 30, 1882
Born Oct 8, 1857 in Hancock Co, ILL; died Mar 18, 1882 at her home in Quaker Bottom.

Died Mar. 22, child of Henry Geisel, 10 years old.

Drowned in swamps.

GHOLSON, Mrs. Sarah       I.R. Mar 3, 1887
Mrs. Sarah Gholson died last Monday at the age of 83 years. She was one of the oldest residents of Ironton, having come here in 1850. Her husband died in 1844. She had nine children, four of whom are living. She has been making her home with her youngest son, John H. Gholson.

Died in Ironton Sep 25, 1880. 53yrs old.

GIBSON, Solomon       March 11, 1880
Found dead with marks of violence to his forehead. Son of A. G. Gibson of LaGrange.

A daughter born to Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Gibson on Feb. 19, 1880.

GIBSON, Unknown       I.R. Jun 3, 1880
Daughter of Wm. & May Gibson died May 27, 1880 at Ironton. About 8yrs old.

GILFILLAN, James       I.R. Jan. 18, 1906
S. G. Gilfillan went to Parkersburg Monday to attend the funeral of his brother, James, which occurred there on Tuesday afternoon from the home of his brother, George Gilfillan. James Gilfillan, who has been in the South for two years for the benefit of his health, died in New Orleans, Saturday and was brought to his old home for burial.

GILLETT, Elizabeth Jane, Mrs.       I.R. Sep. 14, 1905
Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Gillett died at her home on Memorial street, Coal Grove, Sunday, aged about 70 years. Mrs. Gillett was born at Lewisburg, W. Va., in 1835. She was married to Harvard Sydenstricker in 1853. Of this union five children were born. They are, Mrs. Marks of Huntington, J. A. Sydenstricker of Guyandotte, Mrs. Whitley of Proctorville, Prof. W. D. Sydenstricker of Coal Grove and Howard, deceased. Her husband died in 1865 and in 1871 she was married to Mr. Elisha Gillett of Proctorville. Of this union two children were born, Mrs. L. A. Gossett of Hecla and Mrs. A. B. Shafer of this city. Her second husband also passed to his long home in 1894. Burial at Woodland.

Sent to jail from Law. Twp, charged with bigamy. It is said that he had married a girl and had a wife and three children in the neighborhood.

Died, buried Jan 7, 1880

GRAHAM, James       M. I. Jan. 14, 1925
James Graham, 81, brother of Mrs. Margaret Dougherty of Sedgwick and John and Hugh Dougherty, managers of the Marting Hotel, died at St. Anthony's Hospital at Columbus, Tuesday. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Dougherty of Sedgwick and four sons; Patrick of Portsmouth; James, of Columbus; John of Michigan and Thomas of Texas. Mrs. George Hoover, of Wheelersburg, Ohio is a niece and will accompany John and Hugh Dougherty to Wellston this morning to attend the funeral services.

GUTHRIE, Lillie May       Nov, 2, 1882
