Please keep in mind that in some of these cases, there was just a suit FILED for divorce, and there wasn’t any indication whether the divorce was actually awarded. I just pulled what was put in the newspapers as it was printed and have no other information concerning these divorces.

Cause: Claimed his wife carried a pistol for several weeks, periodically threathened to shoot him and finally did shoot him in the hand on 8 Feb 1915.

Misc: James lives in Fayette Twp. The couple were married at Catlettsburg, KY last Nov. In addition to the shooting episode, the pltf. alleges his wife destroyed his trunk in searching for a revolver, and that her threats became so pronounced that he left the house and went to neighbors on 25 Feb, last. The next day, when he went home, he found his wife gone.

There are no children.
