How to Obtain Copies
of Death and Birth Certificates
 1909-present

 Please do not send you requests for copies of deaths to Briggs Library.  They  DO NOT have access to these records, only the INDEXES, which are online from 1909-1945.  We will not be adding anymore indexes after 1945, please contact the Health Dept. or the library for names and dates.

The 1909-present death certificates must be ordered from the Ironton City Health Department. (address below)

To obtain copies, please send  names and dates and enclose a certified check or  a money order, in the amount of $18.00 for each certificate.  And please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

They cannot accept personal checks.
