QUERY!!

I am looking for information regarding John W. Summers, his wife Martha Summers, and their daughter Theressa Summers.  They lived in Washington Township, Lawrence County, Ohio in the late 1800"s.  I know John was born about 1846 and Martha died February 12, 1889 and is buried in Olive Cemetery.  Theressa, my grandmother, married Grove White and lived in Lancaster, Ohio.  I would appreciate any information.  Thank you.

NEW!  Please help me find William Isitt!

I am trying to trace a distant relative named William Isitt, who was born in Pembrokeshire, Wales in 1815 and emigrated to the U.S., arriving in New York in April 1842 on the "Sheridan". I have a copy of a letter that he wrote to his brother and sister in Wales on July 17th 1848. His address at that time was Hanging Rock, Lawrence County, Ohio.

Other than this letter, and the record of his arrival in New York, I have been able to find absolutely no record of William Isitt in the U.S.

I am wondering if you have any ideas, or if you can suggest someone who could undertake some paid research for me.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards

Cemetery Readings on CD
* with the exception of Henry Cemetery and South Point Cemetery.

These cemetery books on CD are readings taken from thousands of tombstones which took many years to complete. There are 270 cemeteries, plus a special index to the burial records from Woodland Cemetery, in additional to the tombstone readings.

When these books first was printed, they sold for over $65.00. I am now selling them (cd's) for only $25.00, with the proceeds going to the upkeep of this website. Due to price of publishing, these readings are only available on cd's.

They are in Word and Excel format.

On many of the cemeteries, it only lists persons born before 1900.

Soon, we will make these available as a download, after you purchase it with our PayPal account.

Email format for cemetery inscriptions invalid ...

Submitted by Ken Brown on Wed, 10/28/2009 - 10:38am.

The email shown for questions on ordering the cemetery inscriptions is merged with the non-email heading "mail to:", and as a result, clicking on it does not start the email program.

This is a fantastic web site, and I have been able to find quite a few connections to my ancestors.

Thanks,
Ken Brown
